WHY I DO WHAT I DO

Here’s to trying and failing for the umpteenth time. I’m not a writer, I only express myself on paper. I should hold an anniversary for finally putting this up here!!!

The question “WHY I DO WHAT I DO” can’t be answered in a blog post but hey, I’m a weird human with unexpressed emotions. Hence, the reason I write. A year ago, a friend @screamingfirefly wrote “my mind has the semblance of an array of quarantined wolves fighting to escape a tight space, letting them out orally could lead to a pandemic of mysteries. So I write to let the wolves run free in ink, to heal the wounds inflicted by struggling wolves- to free my head. To pass a message of help from the wolves to those who would understand- so they can help me understand”.

What if I refrain from writing? “the wolves get bigger, feeding on the expanse of my imaginations, nurtured by the intensity of my fantasy. They take over, trampling on the line demarcating fantasy and reality; they tap into my subconscious, I become lost. I stare at blank spaces. I enjoy solitude”. Then the voices, little voices, they make it major and run wild in my head. Thus, this is why I write: To retain my sanity; To cage my mind; To kill the struggle; To let the wolves run free.

This was never meant to be a first blog post. But hey! If you can relate to any of the aforementioned strange lines, you’re one of a kind!!!
